Syrian artist Abdalla Al Omari's latest project, "The Vulnerability Series," portrays world leaders as you've never seen them before-- as refugees.
On display at Ayyam Gallery in Dubai through July 6, 2017, Omari paints Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Kim Jong Un, and others as refugees.
"The Vulnerability Series features a selection of recent portraits that reimagine controversial world leaders as disenfranchised or displaced civilians," a statement reads.
"These fictionalized portraits are rendered with an affecting form of realism that although usually reserved for sympathetic characters also draws from political visual culture, particularly the use of propagandist images like political posters or billboards."
