Dubai is a wonderful place to visit...but it becomes decidedly less wonderful during the summer months.
Temperatures spike so high that it's difficult to be outside; the waters of the Arabian Sea become too hot to swim in; and some of the greatest things about Dubai--desert adventures, water sports, strolling along the Boulevard or through the galleries in Al Quoz, become simply impossible because of the weather.
With a new ad, Dubai Tourism is working to prove that Dubai in the summer isn't bad at all...in fact, according to the new video, Dubai seems like a total blockbuster. "Dubai awaits you with a blockbuster summer vacation for the whole family," the text under the ad reads.
With water parks, a trip to the top of the Burj Khalifa, indoor virtual reality rides, and more, the 39-second video from Visit Dubai sure makes Dubai seem like the ultimate family destination. So...are you brave enough to face the heat? After watching this, you just might be.
