A few days ago, a Muslim man in Cambridgeshire, England reported a rather unusual hate crime: after taking his son for a swimming lesson, he found a piece of bacon had been left on one of the handles of his car.
After reporting what had happened to the police, he pointed out that the crime must have been premeditated--the perpetrator must have known that the car owner was Muslim, because why else would his weapon of choice be a pork product?
When the incident became public, people quickly recognized how insane it is to assume that Muslims are offended simply by the sight of pork, and they took to Twitter to hilariously chime in.
