It's a scene you're more likely to see on the New York Subway but commuters on the Dubai Metro were surprised to get an impromptu musical performance as they made their way through the city recently.
A saxophonist brought some fun to the carriages, playing a couple of tunes you might recognize, aptly including Alex Gaudino's Destination Calabria. Watch the video to see how the mystery man livens up a boring train journey and even gets strangers talking to each other while having a boogie. One commuter says it made a nice change to her usual journey.
"He played a couple of jazzy songs. He did well seeing as he was under pressure to play more for us because we were loving it so much!" Hannah Shanks, who was traveling from TECOM to The Dubai Mall, told POPSUGAR Middle East. "Everyone really enjoyed it and we were sad when he got off at Mall of the Emirates. It certainly brightened up the commute."
If it means more happy train trips like this, someone should give this guy a permanent gig!
