If you own the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X, you'll probably be familiar with taking all your snaps for Instagram Stories using the Portrait Mode camera instead of using the app. Our favorite tthings to share on social media just look better with that focus. But now, Instagram has introduced a Focus element to Stories.
It means you can get that blurred background affect simply by switching modes (it's located between Boomerang and Superzoom under the record button) and not completely coming out of the app to capture the action or take a selfie. While it may not be the same quality as Apple's version, it certainly adds that glossy element.
That's not all, Instagram also lets you @mention in stickers now. Just swipe up where you'd find your gifs, weather and all sorts of other additions that make your Instagram Stories more fun.
Happy snapping!
