These Maple Syrup Drizzled Greens Ensure Veggies Won't Get Left Behind

Maple syrup and walnuts are a festive way to jazz up your plate of vegetables this holiday season.

Maple Syrup Vinaigrette Mixed Greens With Walnuts

Ingredients

  1. 3 tbsp olive oil

  2. 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  3. 2 tsp spinneysFOOD Maple Syrup
  4. 1 small spinneysFOOD Peeled Garlic Clove, finely chopped
  5. 200g spinneysFOOD Fine Green Beans
  6. 200g spinneysFOOD Mangetout
  7. 200g spinneysFOOD Tenderstem Broccoli
  8. 3 tbsp walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, maple syrup and garlic together in a small bowl then
    set aside.
  2. Blanch the greens in a large pan of boiling salted water for 
1 minute. Immediately
    refresh in iced water.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle over the vinaigrette and sprinkle with the
    walnuts to serve.
