Warnings were issued last week that over the weekend, the UAE would see inclement weather, and while a storm hit Ras Al Khaimah, people living in Dubai saw beach weather throughout the weekend.
The week kicked off a bit differently, though, and earlier this morning heavy rain swept across the city.
Dubai does not deal well with the rain, and services like Deliveroo and Fetchr were suspended, and traffic came to a standstill on major roads.
Of course, since rain so rarely hits the UAE, people couldn't help but share their surprise at the unseasonable storm!
