
The UAE already has the strongest passport in the Middle East, but now, with visa-free entry to one more country, the Emirati passport, which ranks 26th globally, became even more powerful.
Gulf News reported earlier this week that the central-Asian country of Tajikstan now allows visa-free entry for UAE citizens, thanks to a diplomatic memorandum granted by Tajikstan's ministry of foreign affairs.
The decision was made to help facilitate both trade and tourism between the two countries. Speaking about the move, Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs said that it "reflects the stature attained by the UAE and contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Tajikistan."
