While this nighttime park is always impressive, new installations for the 2017-2018 season are sure to make Dubai Garden Glow more spectacular than ever.
The park opened for the season this week...so what can you expect? Well, the biggest addition is an ice-themed park that will have mini ice sculptures of the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Airports, as well as camels and dinosaurs. Dinosaurs will remain a theme throughout the park, as the 100 animatronic dinos that were added last year will remain in place for this season.
Dubai Garden Glow is a tribute to the city it calls home, and this year, an art installation featuring the city's official hashtag, #MyDubai, has been added. A recreation of Happiness Street is also on the property.
Gulf News reports that the Garden is spread across 100 acres and features installations by 500 artists who used five tons of recycled fabrics and 10 million energy-efficient LED lights to complete this year's structures.
It's not just the LED lights that are working for a greener and cleaner Dubai: the attraction's new Ice Park's theme is global worming, bringing attention to one of the world's greatest current issues.
At negative 8 degrees celsius, it's not exactly Dubai temperatures inside the Ice Park, but thermal jackets will be provided to all visitors who want to brave the cold!
