In honor of the first day of Ramadan, Facebook has been updated to include a check-in option for those celebrating, or just those sending out well-wishes for the holy month.
Located next to the location check in options, clicking on small smiley face allows you to add what you're doing or how you're feeling to your status update.
From there, scroll down to "more."
Here, you'll see alternative options that aren't included in the regular choices, and which are updated often. Today, for example, you can be "Sending birthday wishes to Pharrell Williams," or, of course "Observing Ramadan."
Use this new check-in feature to observe the holiday all month long.
