In terms of innovation, Dubai is at the top of the game.
With groundbreaking technology such as the world's first flying taxis; food delivery via drone; and the Hyperloop One, which when completed, will whisk passengers from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in a record 12-minutes; Dubai is changing the way we operate on every level.
Now, Sheikh Mo has revealed another development, proving that Dubai really is the city of the future.
On Saturday, September 16, Sheikh Mo headed to City Walk to unveil the world's first smart police center.
According to Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marria, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, "the center will operate round the clock to provide 27 services to the public ranging from traffic to criminal and community, in addition to 33 fully automated sub-services."

According to state news agency, WAM, the purpose of the center is to "provide the best-in-class smart services, facilitate easy access and communication between the public and the police, and save the effort and time of clients and make them happy."
Will we be seeing more facilities like this? It seems likely-- though no word yet on where the next will be located.
