Dubai Airport is regularly voted as one of the best in the world. With a number of perks--including the world's fastest airport WiFi--it seemed unlikely that the UAE's busiest airport could get any better.
But now, a new amenity coming to DXB will make layovers (or early arrivals) more painless than ever.
Dubai Airports has teamed up with Icflix, a Middle Eastern entertainment streaming platform, to provide a huge range of shows and movies to anyone spending time at DXB. Users just need to download the platform, and they will automatically have access to a variety of shows in English, Arabic, and French.
A free trial period is available for two months, after which users will pay a small fee.
"Dubai Airports is on a mission to engage more directly with our customers, and transform the airport experience for millions of travellers each month,"said Eugene Barry, Executive Vice President of Dubai Airports' Commercial and Communications Group.
"Thanks to our partnership with ICFLIX, travellers at DXB can now enjoy a wide range of streamed entertainment before and between flights, and this is a service which is completely free of charge to users."
