The American Ambassador to the UAE Has a Message For Emirati Women's Day

Emirati Women's Day is being celebrated around the country, by people from every walk of life, and the US ambassador to the UAE is the latest public figure to join in by ringing in the occasion.

Posting a video to the official UAE Embassy US account, the Barbara Leaf, who has been the US ambassador to the UAE since 2014, is joined by American women and other employees from the American embassy in the UAE in wishing all women in the country a happy 3rd annual Emirati Women's Day.

In the video, the ambassador salutes the efforts of Sheikh Fatima Bint Mubarak, and "all the Emirati women who have played a dynamic role in the future of their great country."
